Flux:: Ircam Spat v3
- Take control over your soundfield
- Simulate acoustically complex spaces
- Streamlined, intuitive workflow
Take control over your soundfield
Spat introduced cutting-edge techniques for room acoustics simulation using sophisticated perceptive models, hiding the complexity behind the algorithms, allowing for intuitive and accommodating user interaction capabilities. Now with version 3, Spat ups the ante with a host of improvements that lets you take firm control over your stereo or surround soundfield.
Simulate acoustically complex spaces
Spat gives you up to eight incoming audio channels; each is internally mapped to a range of Virtual Sources plotted in a three-dimensional space and connected to a reverb (room). You get up to 3 rooms in parallel, making it easy to couple room acoustics to simulate acoustically complex spaces. Whether you do post production or multichannel music, Flux:: Ircam Spat v3 is an elegant, one-stop solution for working with 3D soundscapes.
Streamlined, intuitive workflow
To juice your workflow, Spat's two preset/parameter slots (A and B) may be simultaneously loaded with two full set of parameters. You can save each preset, plus a "global" preset with both the A and B settings, as well as the position of the Morphing slider. The Morphing slider lets you crossfade between the parameter settings of slots A and B - perfect for real-time tweaking! If you've enabled the Automation control button, you're host automation records your Morphing slider moves. Very cool.
